在阿姆斯特丹的东航卡帕留学经历 

抵达后立即 通过东航卡帕宝博体育，与学期合作 阿姆斯特丹 program at Vrije Universiteit, hosting a dinner for the incoming international students. This was the perfect way to meet the people I spent most of my time within 阿姆斯特丹. Since then, 东航卡帕 planned several trips for us, with many more coming up. I fell in love with this country and want to do nothing but explore more.

薯条屋  

我们的第一个 东航卡帕游览 在阿姆斯特丹市中心附近. 在这里, 我们参观了原来的“薯条之家”店, where we had the opportunity to try 阿姆斯特丹’s signature fries. In the same visit, we went to Begijnhof, which was previously home to the nuns in 阿姆斯特丹. 尽管城市里有那么多噪音, 这个地方无比宁静, as all its visitors agreed to silence upon their entry. 这是一次非常美妙的经历.

The fries to the left and at the bottom of the photo have truffle mayonnaise sauce and the ones at the top and on the right have frites sauce. Frites sauce is a widely used condiment in the 荷兰!

乌特勒支 

In another excursion, our 东航卡帕 program traveled to a different Dutch city, 乌特勒支. This is home to the Domtoren, which is a tower of over 400 steps, standing at 367 feet tall. 我们参观了这座塔，一路爬到了塔顶.

The exterior of 哈尔城堡 in 乌特勒支, which looks like it's from a fairytale. There were lots of swans swimming in the moat surrounding the castle that perfectly complemented the beautiful flowers in the gardens. 

Zaanse Schans 

而哈尔城堡则相当宏伟, our trip to Zaanse Schans was without a doubt my favorite. 在这里 we saw the famous Dutch windmills and the first Albert Heijn, a large grocery store in the 荷兰你几乎可以在任何地方找到它!

The windmills were lined along the water paralleling rich plots of grass that were home to many cows, 羊, 山羊, 和鸡.

这个地区还有免费的奶酪之旅, where guests can try a variety of delicious cheeses and spreads.

Of course, the most famous attraction of 阿姆斯特丹 is its canals. 还有什么比乘船更好的观赏方式呢? Our program was given a private sunset boat tour along the canals through 阿姆斯特丹’s center.

Grachtenmuseum 

我们还在格拉希滕博物馆了解到了它们, which gives a brief history of the development of the canals and the houses along them.

Above all, 东航卡帕 made it incredibly easy for everyone in our study abroad program to explore. The excursions provided for us were excellent ways to get us acquainted with not just 阿姆斯特丹, 但是这个国家的其他地方也是如此!
